Lesson 60 – Sometimes Thoughts

The sometimes thoughts.

Sometimes I like to sit inside my house all day.
Not all the time.
But sometimes.

Sometimes I like to do nothing but eat chocolate.
Not all the time.
But sometimes.

Sometimes I like to watch six movies back-to-back.
Not all the time.
But sometimes.

Sometimes I can’t leave my house.
Sometimes I can’t get myself out of bed.
Sometimes making dinner is too difficult a task to face.
Not all the time.
But sometimes.

The sometimes thoughts appear when they’re least expected.
The sometimes thoughts appear when they’re least wanted.
The sometimes thoughts appear for no reason.

Sometimes it feels easier to give into the sometimes thoughts.
Sometimes it is wonderful to do absolutely nothing.
Sometimes the world outside can’t offer the kind of calm of the world inside.
But sometimes I need to break the thought cycle.

Clear thinking is always a challenge.
Shorting through the noise in my head is never easy.
Finding self-motivation often feels impossible.

Talking is better than thinking.
Sometimes.
No.
Always.
I think too much.
I’m an over-thinker from way back.
Talking is always better than thinking.
Talking to myself.
Talking to a friend.
Talking to a family member.
Talking to a professional.
Just talk it out.

Sometimes the world feels full of difficulty.
Sometimes the world feels full of hopeful possibility.
Sometimes I feel helplessness.
Sometimes I feel full of potential.

Sometimes thoughts are good.
They’re healthy.
They’re normal.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that they’re just for sometimes.
